Minor Railways Section – Technical Visit to the Foxfield Railway
Saturday 17th November 2012
The Minor Railways Section have arranged a technical visit to the Foxfield Railway at Blythe Bridge in Staffordshire. The current signalling system on the railway has grown from a single signal protecting a level crossing when the Society took over the line in 1967. The line now has an unusual signalling system which has evolved over the intervening years and is well worth visiting, come along and see!

This technical visit is open to members and non-members and is aimed at individuals involved with signalling and telecommunications design and maintenance in the minor railway sector or those who have a general interest in these subjects.

Full details can be obtained here: http://www.irse.org/events/Lists/Calendar/DispForm.aspx?ID=112.
