At the end of last year, there were communications sent in error relating to a potential election to be conducted by the Indian section for officers of the section committee. The process for the election of officers is laid down in the Indian section bye-laws, and an election for these positions can only occur at the time of an AGM of the members of the Indian section.

All members of the Indian section will, however, receive an email from the official body called Mi-Voice, which administers the IRSE main Council elections, when the IRSE main Council elections open on Friday, 7th February 2025 (closing date to cast votes 10 March 2025). The President and members of the Council encourage all members of the IRSE Indian section to exercise their voting rights at this time.
